My Story
When your first word as a baby was "flower" working in the gardening industry was meant to be!

Over the past 25 years I have found great joy from getting my hands dirty in the garden. My own passions lie in growing my own veggies, creating and recreating my garden beds, designing custom garden planters and most recently growing a cutting garden.
My knowledge of all things gardens has grown by living in two provinces with very different growing seasons and climates as well as through my Horticulture studies at the University of Guelph.

My Work
My current work with clients is garden landscaping which includes garden maintenance on a regular or occasional basis.
​
I also specialize in garden refreshes, transforming gardens into spaces that are curated to a client’s preferences and personality, by using both what is on hand in different ways and incorporating new elements.
Important to the values of Urban Nest Design is creating spaces that are sustainable by incorporating native plants into designs and using IPM techniques for unwanted pests.
​
Custom planters, wreaths, centrepieces and seasonal locally grown bouquets are available to add that extra special touch.
